The quartet of international intermediaries has made no changes in the roadmap of the Middle Eastern settlement, American State Secretary Colin Powell has said on Friday. He was speaking at the press conference on results of the G8 meeting of foreign ministers in Paris.
The international community is going to treat seriously the Israeli remarks made on the roadmap, he said. This does not mean we are making changes in this document, said the American secretary of state.
Adopted on results of the ministerial meeting, the document stresses that the roadmap, developed by the for intermediaries - the United Nations, Russia, the United States and the European Union - provides an historical chance to settle the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians.
