A NATO coordinating office will open in Tbilisi in the near future. As a Rosbalt correspondent reports, this was announced by Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze yesterday after a meeting with NATO General Secretary George Robertson.
The office will unite the Caucasus countries and encourage greater integration between Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia in the NATO programme Partnership for the sake of peace. Mr Shevardnadze again expressed his willingness and the willingness of the Georgian people and government to join NATO.
