Belarus is an important trading area for Ford Motor Company. As the press office of the Russian representative office said today, this was announced by President of Ford Motor Company in Russia and the CIS Henrik Nenzen at a press conference devoted to the Motorshow car exhibition in Minsk. Mr Nenzen said Ford Motor Company currently has 63 official dealers in Russia and Belarus but there are plans to increase this number to 80 by the end of 2003.
Ford Motor Company presented the Ford Focus model produced by the Vsevolozhsk factory (Leningrad Region), the Focus ST170 sports car, the new Fiesta and also the Ford Mondeo along with its sports equivalent Ford Monteo ST 220 at the Motorshow car exhibition. Also on display are the Ford Fusion, the new off-road Ford Explorer, the small off-road Ford Maverick and the Ford Transit Jumbo minibus.
