Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov and US Secretary of State Colin Powell have agreed to hold a regular working meeting in Brussels on April 3rd. This agreement was reached yesterday after a telephone conversation between the foreign ministers of the two countries, the Russian Foreign Ministry Department of Information and press disclosed.
As it was reported earlier, Colin Powell planned to come to Brussels from Ankara after his meeting with the Turkish authorities. The US Secretary of State also plans to meet the EU and NATO authorities in Brussels. Colin Powell intends to inform his colleagues of the military operation in Iraq and to discuss the after-war restoration of the country.
