"The Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) has good prospects for Moldova," Yelena Gorelova, deputy economics minister of Moldova, stated Monday. She took part in the session of the Community's Integration Committee held in the Kirghiz city of Cholpon-Ata.
Gorelova believes that "EurAsEC is a mobile structure and its development rates are higher than that of CIS." According to her, Moldova's entry into the community would provide it a high rate of economic integration.
Currently, Moldova has an observer status in EurAsEC.
EurAsEC comprises Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kirghizia with Ukraine and Moldova having an observer status.
