Russian officer dies in Kosovo

Russian Defence Ministry officer Alexander Kolodyazhny died a tragic death in Kosovo.

The press-service of the Moskovsky military district told RIA Novosti that the incident happened at 9:10 pm Moscow time on Sunday, July 21st.

At 8:00 pm Moscow time Tactical Group 13 of the Russian peacekeeping forces launched a patrolling raid of the locality. All of a sudden one APC swung over killing captain Alexander Kolodyazhny who was sitting on top of it at the moment. The other crewmen and peacekeepers were not hit. The reasons and circumstances of the incident are being established.
