Russia, Colombia audit chambers ink cooperation agreement

The audit chambers of Russia and Colombia have concluded a cooperation agreement. It was undersigned in Cartagena in Colombia by Sergei Stepashin and Carlos Ossa Escobar, the heads of the two countries' top fiscal control bodies.

Stepashin leads a delegation of the Russian Audit Chamber now in Cartagena for participation in a conference of the European Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions /EUROSAI/ and the Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions of Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean /OLACEFS/.

The agreement intends conduct of parallel auditing work, exchange of information in the sphere of improving state fiscal control, cooperation in personnel training and retraining.
