Russian President, King of Jordan meet in Kremlin

On Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin met King of Jordan Abdallah II in the Kremlin. The Jordanian leader arrived in Russia the other day for a working visit. The Russian President stated that Moscow is very pleased with the present-day partnership, which the two countries had managed to establish. According to Vladimir Putin, Russia and Jordan have many issues to discuss, including economy, military and technical cooperation.

There are issues on the agenda that I would really like to discuss with you and understand your and other Arab leaders' position with regard to the situation in the Middle East, the Russian leader stated addressing the Jordanian King.
