Currently in Russia, Canada's Minister of International Cooperation Susan Whelan will visit St Petersburg, RIA Novosti was told at the Canadian consulate-general in St Petersburg. On Saturday July 6 the minister is planning to meet members of a consortium on consultations and studies in economic policy, which renders support and assistance to various organisations. Whelan intends to visit the Teresa charity foundation and St Petersburg school No. 33 for children with partial loss of hearing, whose projects and programmes get assistance from Canada's Ministry for International Cooperation.
On Sunday July 7, Whelan will attend a conference, "Russia: Second Decade of Reforms", which is also being held with support from the consortium.
