The Azerbaijani capital Baku will host a one-day session of foreign ministers from member states of the GUUAM /Georgia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Moldova/, reported the Azerbaijani foreign ministry.
According to the ministry, Uzbekistan has not yet confirmed its participation in the meeting. Earlier, Tashkent announced its decision to suspend membership in this regional economic organization, which unites several republics of the former Soviet Union.
It is expected that the sides will discuss creation of a zone of free trade in the framework of the GUUAM and preparations for a summit meeting of the GUUAM, which is scheduled to take place in Yalta in late July.
Participants in the meeting will also have an audience with Azerbaijani President Geidar Aliyev.
