Interior Minister of the Russian Federation Boris Gryzlov on Thursday arrived in Mongolia on an official visit. In the airport of the Mongolian capital the Russian Interior Minister told the RIA Novosti correspondent that in the course of this visit he intends to discuss the ways of developing cooperation with the Mongolian law enforcement bodies and of increasing its efficiency.
This is the first visit by a delegation of the Russian Interior Ministry to Mongolia. Boris Gryzlov pointed out that under the tight programme of his visit in Ulan Bator he would meet with his Mongolian counterpart Tsendiin Nyamdorj. It is planned that on the results of the negotiations the sides will sign a protocol on cooperation between the two ministries for 2003, said the Russian Interior Minister. The sides will touch upon the joint fight against the illegal drug trafficking and trans-border crime.
