Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov will meet chairman of the Japanese-Russian Friendship Association of the Japanese parliament Hiroshi Mitsuzuka, reported the head of the information department of the Japanese Embassy in Moscow Ychiro Kavabata.
According to him, at the coming meeting it is planned to discuss Russian-Japanese relations, including interparliamentary contacts.
Ychiro Kavabata said that the main aim of the visit by the prominent politician to Moscow was "to contribute to the development of bilateral cooperation, including a political dialogue. "The Japanese diplomat believes that the visit by the Japanese parliamentary delegation, whose members represent all political parties of the country, "is a kind of signal to the Russian people that the Japanese are striving to develop relations in all spheres." Hiroshi Mitsuzuka heads the six-member parliamentarian delegation which arrived in the Russian capital last Saturday.
