Russian and Afghan border guards have seized more than 7 kg of drugs on the Tajik-Afghan border.
While conducting a joint operation on the section controlled by the Kalai-Khumb and Khorog frontier detachments on June 13, Russian and Afghan border guards seized 7 kg 390 g of heroin, reported the press service of Russian border guards in Tajikistan.
According to the press service, the drugs will be burnt on the Kalai-Khumb border section in the presence of Afghan border guards.
The press service also said Russian and Afghan border commissars had met on the Khorog border section yesterday to discuss measures to tighten control over the border and strengthen cooperation.
