While meeting his Norwegian counterpart Kjell Magne Bondevik in St. Petersburg today, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov said that the dynamics of political dialogue and interaction in the trade-economic sphere were "successful enough." Kasyanov assured Mr. Bondevik that Russia was prepared for and would further move towards further developing co-operation between the two countries and solving the most sensitive problems.
The Norwegian premier, in his turn, noted his country had made its contribution to next year's 300th anniversary celebrations in St. Petersburg.
During the meeting, the sides expressed their satisfaction with the increase in trade-turnover between their countries, touched upon the development of the agreement-legal base, and thoroughly discussed interaction in the energy and fishing spheres. In addition, they also considered relations between Russia and NATO.
