Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski has arrived in Moscow on a working visit to discuss vital international issues, such as the recent Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Alma Ata, Russia's Participation in the NATO-Russia summit in Rome and Poland's status in the world community after its joining the European Union.
In addition, the visit will focus on Russian-Polish economic relations. The Polish leader is not satisfied with them. Nowadays, the trade turnover between Russia and Poland totals 5 billion dollars. However, 4 million dollars fall on Russian goods. According to RIA Novosti's data, the Polish President will also consider the problem of the Kaliningrad region in connection with the forthcoming EU expansion. The Russian government insists on the introduction of privileged visa regulations on the Lithuanian and Polish borders for Kaliningrad residents.
