The Admiral Pitka flag-ship of the Estonian Navy and the Sulev mine sweeper will take part in the BALTOPS-2002 military exercise.
The exercises will be held in the Baltic Sea within the framework of the NATO programme Partnership for Peace.
According to the General Staff of the Estonian Armed Forces, Estonian men-of-war will be assigned to a mine sweeper squadron of the Baltic States commanded by Estonian officer Captain 3rd rank Igor Shvede.
The exercises to practice a wide range of marine missions is held with the participation of British, French, Dutch and US Navy units.
