In Moscow's opinion, constitutional methods are the only way to solve the problems that led to rallies of protest in Kyrgyzstan. "Attempts to destabilize the situation by using force can only aggravate the conflict and distract general attention from topical problems facing the country and its people," the Information and Press Department of the Russian foreign ministry told RIA Novosti on Tuesday while commenting on anti-government rallies in several Kyrgyz regions. The top leaders of Kyrgyzstan, particularly the country's President Askar Akayev, are trying to launch a dialogue with various political forces inside the republic, said a source in the Russian foreign ministry. Hopefully, their "responsibility, restraint and constructive approach" will help Bishkek restore law and order in the republic, the source added.
