Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov and US Secretary of State Colin Powell have discussed preparations for the Russo-American summit and some regional problems on the phone. Both sides expressed mutual satisfaction with the preparations for the forthcoming Russo-American summit in Moscow on May 23-26, the Russian Foreign Ministry informed. Particularly, almost all documents to be considered at the summit have been agreed upon. Ivanov and Powell expressed concerns over the growing tension between India and Pakistan. They emphasised the need to continue joint efforts concerning the normalisation of the situation in the region in the context of the antiterrorist campaign, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
