On Friday, May 17th, at noon, Moscow time, Stellar City will hold an official ceremony to welcome the crew of the third short-term expedition to the International Space Station, a RIA Novosti correspondent was told in the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre. According to the established tradition, the crew, consisting of the commander - Russian cosmonaut Yury Gidzenko, astronaut from the European Space Agency (ESA) Italian Roberto Vittori and tourist No. 2 Marc Shuttleworth, a businessman from South Africa, will lay flowers at the monument to the world's first cosmonaut Yury Gagarin. Then, in the Cosmonauts's House the crew will be welcomed by the heads of Rosaviakosmos, the ESA, members of the South African Embassy and the heads of Russian space enterprises. For their part, the cosmonauts will tell the audience about their ten-day flight which they completed on May 5th and about their plans for the future.
