Debris has been removed from where the roof of the assemble-test has collapsed, RIA Novosti was told by the press service of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations. During the emergency-rescue operations the bodies of seven workers were found. The fate of another one is unknown. It still remains to be ascertained if an eighth person was on the roof when the accident happened. An operative group of the Emergencies Ministry began emergency-rescue work on the site of the accident on Monday. Forty-four rescuers with the required equipment were brought to Kazakhstan by an Il-76 plane from Moscow. On May 12 the roof of the assembly-test block collapsed. According to then information, eight workers doing roof repair work were buried in the debris.
