Yugoslav leaders hold meeting with NATO and US representatives

Representatives of the Yugoslav military political leadership held a closed meeting with the NATO high delegation on cooperation issues at one of Serbia's military installations, a participant of the meeting informed Yugoslav agency Beta on Monday. The meeting took place on May 9-10. Foreign Minister of the FRY Goran Svilanovic, Deputy Minister of Defence Svetislav Ristic and the minister's assistant Dobrosav Radovanovic, as well as Chairman of the Yugoslav Parliament's Defence Committee Boris Tadic took part in the meeting. Rade Bulatovic and Predrag Simic, advisors to the Yugoslav president, participated in the talks. The Yugoslav army was represented by General Branko Krga, Deputy Head of the General Staff. Advisor to the Montenegrin president Blagoje Grahovac represented Montenegro at the meeting. The NATO delegation was headed by the alliance's Crisis Management leader Robert Serry and Special Advisor to the NATO's Secretary General Chris Donelli. The US was represented by Bruce Jackson in the conversation. "The talks were open and constructive. The agreement to keep contacting has been reached," the source told Beta.
