From May 12 to May 14, Tbilisi will be hosting the 12th session of the Council of the Security Departments and secret services of the CIS member countries. The Center of Public Relations of the Russian Federal Security Service (TsOS FSB) said this to RIA Novosti on Monday. According to the TsOS FSB's spokesman, the session will look at how the Protocol on the cooperation in preventing the illegal entry to the territory of the CIS countries is implemented. The session will also advise on specific measures to further develop the CIS United Databank of the security agencies and special services on the fight against organized crime. Moreover, the session is expected to examine the implementation of the joint measures on detecting and halting the financing of terrorist organizations and illegal armed formations. In particular, issues on the joint operations to halt illegal drug turnover will be discussed. The TsOS noted that the participants will be discussing a wide range of issues on the CIS Anti-terrorist Center and measures to enhance the cooperation agreed upon.
