Chinese Defense Minister Chi Haotan has left for Moscow

On Monday the Chinese defense minister Chi Haotan left Beijing for Moscow to take part in a regular session of defence ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states. The session will be held on May 15. Defense ministers from Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are expected to discuss issues of armed forces cooperation within the SCO framework, cooperation in combating international terrorism, securing regional stability and some other problems. Besides, there are plans to hold a separate meeting of the Chinese and Russian defense ministers.
