On Thursday, the Director of the Russian Federal Frontier Service issued an order envisaging that the Turkish Yalik Balik Cilik vessel should leave Russia's territorial waters. The vessel accompanied by a patrol boat left the water area of the Novorossiisk port. According to the North Caucasian regional department of the Russian Frontier Service, the vessel was arrested two months ago for poaching in Russia's territorial waters. The vessel's captain had been refusing to stop for examination for five hours. The poaching vessel stopped only when a Russian patrol boat opened shoot-to-kill fire. The Novorossiisk district court considered the case. The owner of the Turkish vessel was sentenced to pay a 105,000-rouble fee ($1 equals more than 30 roubles), to cover the damage from illegal fishing /112,000 roubles/, and to cover all expenses relating to the arrest of the intruder vessel /292,000 roubles/.
