An indisputable priority of Russia's foreign policy is providing security and creation of the most favorable external conditions for the economic development of the country, Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov told Washington's public and political circles. According to him, the Russian state's national interests are implemented within the framework of a balanced multi-vector foreign policy course on the global and regional scale. The Russian Minister thinks that only an organic combination of Russia's West- and East-oriented foreign policy will give a real opportunity to strengthen Russia's positions in the world, including in the sphere of economy and finances.
