Turkmenian President Saparmurat Niyazov will arrive May 13 in Kiev on an official 2-day visit. The Ukrainian President's press service informed RIA Novosti that Leonid Kuchma and Saparmurat Niyazov will have a tete-a-tete conversation on May 14, Monday. Then the negotiations are supposed to be continued in a wide format. The parties will discuss prospects of bilateral cooperation activation. It is also planned to sign a set of documents, including the agreement on economic cooperation and the accord on Turkmenian gas delivery to Ukraine. Kuchma and Niyazov will take part in opening in Kiev of a memorial devoted to Turkmenian poet Makhtumkuli, 18th century. The Presidents will lay flowers to the grave of the Unknown Soldier in the park of Eternal Glory. Tuesday, on May 15, Leonid Kuchma and Saparmurat Niyazov will visit an exhibition of agricultural equipment produced at Ukrainian enterprises. The same day the Presidents will head for Odessa. A visit to trade seaport Ilyichevsky is planned. Kuchma and Niyazov will be present at the ceremony of opening of a container terminal at the port's train ferry.
