Albanian Terrorists Threaten Government Officials And Reporters With Reprisals

Albanian terrorists based in southern Serbia are threatening to kill the chairman of the state coordination committee, Nebojsa Covic, and reporters covering events in the region. The governmental press center in Bujanovac received a fax message with threats from an organization that calls itself The White Eagles. It demanded from Covic before May 15 to ensure freedom of movement along two highways leading toward Kosovo and Metohija. Officials from the governmental press center in Bujanovac said this was the first time that direct threats had been made to Nebojsa Covic and to journalists covering events in southern Serbia for more than 5 months now.
