On May 3-4 Baku will host a symposium 'The Role of Guuam Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Expanding Economic Cooperation', said officials of the Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The symposium will gather parliamentarians and representatives of business groups and companies of the Guuam member states--Georgia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Moldova. Besides, delegates from Lithuania, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Turkey and some east European countries--Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Czechia--have also arrived in Baku to participate in the forum. Local experts view the Baku symposium primarily as a sign of increasing interest of the world's businessmen in Caspian oil and gas export.
