He reported that units of the anti-Taleban coalition have seized a number of advanced posts in the region of the strategic gorge and mountain cross Tangi Farkar. On Sunday Northern alliance counterattacks squeezed the Taleban from certain areas of the adjacent province Baghlan. The alliance has taken prisoner over 25 Taleban policemen, destroyed 5 and wounded 15 enemy soldiers. According to Mohammad Habil, a Taleban attack against alliance supporters -- Khazarei Shiites from the Hekab-e-Wahdad party in the Bamian province has also failed. The Ajdara valley is still under control of the opposition.
