Heads of Central Election Committees of the CIS countries will discuss a convention draft devoted to the standards for free democratic elections today, Head of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation Alexander Veshnyakov reported to journalists today. The session will take place in Moscow. In addition, Veshnyakov is supposed to hold consultations with his Belarus colleague, devoted to foreign observation during presidential elections in Belarus. The Head of the Central Election Commission of Russia will also participate in a session of the executive secretariat of the Association of organizers of elections in Central and east European countries which will be held in Hungary.
