The Russian economy and its possibilities for foreign investors and businessmen will be in focus of discussions at the economic forum Russia-2001 which will be held in London on April 10-11. As is expected, the Russian side at the forum will be represented by First Deputy Premier and Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Leonid Reiman and by representatives of Russian regions, big banks, companies and enterprises. The Western business quarters will be represented at the forum by the top managers of a number of leading corporations, financial and investment companies. The forum's programme provides for discussions about the capital and investment market in Russia and the problems of the oil and gas complex, the investment climate in Russian regions and information technology.
