Former Russian Prime Minister Says Slobodan Milosevic's Role Was Positive

Evgeny Primakov, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia believes the role of Slobodan Milosevic, the former President of Yugoslavia, in the political settlement of the conflicts in Bosnia and Kosovo was positive. Yesterday, speaking at a press conference in Moscow, Mr. Primakov said, 'Turning the international court into a political show is inadmissible. Today Mr. Milosevic's policies in Bosnia and Kosovo are called negative'. Mr. Primakov is prepared to go to The Hague and speak on behalf of Mr. Milosevic whose positive role he witnessed while being the Prime Minister of Russia.
