Albanian terrorists blew up the buildings of the local administration and police in the populated area Tearce, Northern Macedonia, the country's foreign ministry spokesmen reported in Skopje on Tuesday. According to preliminary data, there are no killed or wounded. Representatives of NATO, the European Union and the OSCE visited the scene. Yesterday, a combined police unit of three Macedonians and three Albanians patrolled for the first time the village Tearce, populated mainly by Albanians. Armed clashed between Macedonian security forces and Albanian extremists, which later escalated into a full-scale war, began in Tearce last spring. Albanian militants from the National Liberation Army controlled the village for several months. The procedure of bringing combined police patrols, armed only with pistols and rubber clubs, into five villages in the area of Tetovo, Kumanovo and Skopje, which began yesterday, will continue on Tuesday.
