At the invitation of the Russian State Duma, a delegation of Mongolia's State Great Hural departed for Moscow Tuesday, headed by chairman Jasrai Puntsagiin of the Russo-Mongolian parliamentary group. Before the departure, the chief delegate said at the Buyant Uhaa airport of Ulan Bator that the visit of the delegation was aimed at strengthening and expanding the Mongolian-Russian cooperation and at intensifying the developing interparliamentary ties. According to Jasrai, during the four-day visit the Mongolian delegates will meet with Russian Vice Speaker Artur Chilingarov, representatives of parliamentary factions and members of the Duma international affairs committee. The sides will discuss interaction between the legislative bodies of the two countries in boosting the traditionally friendly ties between Mongolia and Russia. The agenda of the visit also envisions the delegates' trip to Tula /a regional centre not far from Moscow/ and to St. Petersburg.
