Russian Border-guards Detain 5 Jordanians On Finnish Border

Russian border-guards have detained five Jordanian citizens heading for the border with Finland. According to the Russian Federal Frontier service press centre, the border-guards of the Vyborg sector were alerted by an alarm. On arrival at the scene, the border-guards' group found tracks towards the border. As a result of the search, the border-guards detained five citizens of Jordan (a man, a woman, and three young children) 300 meters away from the state border. According to the press centre, the detained persons were taken to the frontier post. Border-guards of the North-Western regional board have detained a total of 285 border violators since the beginning of the current year.
