Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is to discuss countering international terrorism in the course of his working visit to Moscow, diplomatic sources said Friday. In addition to bilateral relations, the problem of strategic stability and vital international issues, particularly the situation in the Middle East, are to be discussed, the sources noted. The sources explained that talks would concern the cooperation between Russia and the European Union in view of the Brussels Russia-EU summit in early October. Issues of Russia-NATO relations are also likely to be discussed. Silvio Berlusconi is to arrive in Moscow on Wednesday evening, October 24. The Italian Prime Minister is scheduled to meet Russian leaders on Thursday. The Prime Minister will leave Moscow on Thursday evening.
