An extraordinary meeting of the Russian-Indian working group on Afghanistan is to be held in Delhi Thursday. First Deputy Foreign Minister Vyacheslav Trubnikov will arrive in Delhi to participate in its work. Indian Foreign Secretary Chokila Iyer will represent the Indian side. Vyacheslav Trubnikov is to meet Indian Foreign Minister Jaswant Singh and National Security Advisor Brajesh Mishra on Friday, October 19. The working group is to discuss the current international situation, especially in South Asia in the light of recent developments in and around Afghanistan.
