The managing director and executive vice president of the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group, Peter Woicke, arrives in Russia Tuesday. During his visit he intends to discuss the investment projects which are being implemented with the Corporation's assistance. RIA Novosti was told about it in the International Finance Corporation (IFC). According to its information, Peter Woicke will meet with representatives of the Russian government and with the management of a number of private companies. Apart from the Russian capital, the head of the corporation plans to visit Saint-Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Krasnoyarsk. It is expected that Peter Woicke will also visit a plant in the town of Vsevolzhsk near Saint Petersburg in which Ford cars will soon be assembled. Earlier, this plant has received a credit of 55 million dollars from the IFC. The corporation's executive vice president also plans to visit the brewery of the Bravo International Limited Liability Company which has received a credit of 40 million dollars from IFC and a number of banks for a term of seven years. The IFC's investment portfolio in Russia amounts to about 300 million dollars. About a third of the sum was granted to joint ventures.
