Presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan Vladimir Putin and Nursultan Nazarbayev spoke Tuesday over the phone following the Kazakh initiative. According to the Kremlin press-service, Putin and Nazarbayev continued the regular exchange of opinions on the situation in Central Asia in connection with the anti-terrorist operation in Afghanistan and on possible further developments in this country. The presidents also discussed particular issues of Russian-Kazakh "bilateral interaction", according to the Russian President's press service.
