Russian Minister To Discuss Questions Of Trade And Economic Cooperation Between Russia And USA With His US Counterpart

On Monday afternoon, Russian Minister of Economic Development and Trade Gherman Gref will have a meeting with US Secretary of Commerce Donald Evans to discuss the development of Russian-US trade and economic cooperation, officials in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation said. Before his meeting with the Russian Minister, Donald Evans will conduct a seminar, American Business in Changing Russia. Taking part in the seminar will be representatives of the US business community in Russia, as well as participants in a business mission who have arrived in Moscow with the US Secretary of Commerce as its head. During his visit to the Russian capital which is to end on Wednesday Donald Evans will be accompanied by a delegation of businessmen representing, in effect, the whole spectrum of the US economy, in particular the aerospace sector, telecommunications, the agro-industrial complex and the energy sector. Not only the representatives of large corporations, such as Boeing and Lockheed-Martin, but also small companies representing medium-sized business are participating in the American business mission, which, by expert estimates, already testifies to the growth of confidence in the Russian market.
