Putin And Jiang To Discuss Terrorism Combat In Shanghai

The preparation of Vladimir Putin's and Jiang Zemin's meeting in Shanghai to take place in the framework of the APEC summit late next week was discussed during the Russian-Chinese foreign policy consultations completed Friday in Beijing, according to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Losyukov who met in Beijing with Chinese Deputy Foreign Ministers Liu Guchang and Wan Yi. Losyukov noted that the Russian and Chinese leaders would discuss the global strategic situation, issues of combat against terrorism, boosting the Russian-Chinese strategic partnership, and bilateral relations.
