On Wednesday Moscow Mayor Yury Luzhkov is flying to Berlin on a two-day visit. The main purpose of the trip is to participate in the fourth international forum Moscow-Invest 2001 which is opening in the German capital. The forum is organised by the Moscow International Business Association of which Luzhkov is the president. The Moscow Mayor is expected to make a speech at the opening ceremony and will then take part in the debates. Such themes as the investment policy of Russia and the conditions for the work of foreign investors in Moscow, as well as the problems and prospects of business cooperation of the Russian capital with Germany will be discussed. Luzhkov's meetings with Berlin ober-burgomaster Eberhard Diepgen and representatives of German business circles are also planned. Luzhkov will return to Moscow on the night of October 11. The Moscow-Invest 2001 forum will last till October 13.
