Russia Welcomes Cuba's Ratification Of Anti-terrorist Conventions

Russia welcomes Cuba's ratification of the anti-terrorist conventions, the Press and Information Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti Wednesday. Cuba's National Assembly of People's Power (parliament) ratified 9 international anti-terrorist conventions at its extraordinary session on October 4. Cuba's parliament has recently ratified three conventions. Now Cuba has fully joined 12 existing international anti-terrorist treaties. With the problem of international terrorism aggravating and acquiring unprecedented scales, this Havana's step has become a Cuba's considerable contribution to the nations' common fight against this global evil, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
