Russian Vice-Premier and Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin says the Cabinet of Ministers is likely to make a decision on allocating extra funds as humanitarian aid to Afghanistan after the counter-terrorism campaign was launched there, Kudrin told the press on Monday. The Vice-Premier laid a particular stress on the fact that the corresponding decision might be taken only at a government session. At a Cabinet session last Thursday a decision was taken to send some 3.5 million dollars as humanitarian aid to Afghanistan from the Cabinet's reserve fund on liquidation of emergency situations and aftermath of natural disasters. Besides, an extra 401.33 thousand odd dollars will be sent from the federal budget.
