A special visiting session of the Davos forum devoted to Russia will be held in Moscow in late October. Thierry Malaret heading the organisational committee of the session said on the phone from Geneva that the forum would be held in the Mariott Hotel of Moscow on October 29-30 and has already been named The Meeting in Russia--2001. According to the meeting organisers, its participants will focus on the new trends, future reforms and opportunities crucial for business activities in Russia. They believed that the forum would concentrate on defining the areas of particular interest for both Russian authorities and investors. The head of the organisational committee told RIA Novosti that prime minister Mikhail Kasyanov, vice premier Alexei Kudrin and other cabinet members had confirmed their intention to attend the forthcoming visiting session.
