Speaking at a press conference in Brussels Tuesday, President Vladimir Putin said Russia's special services are certain of Osama bin Laden's involvement in the September 11 terrorist attacks on New York City and Washington D.C. and that they need no additional evidence. Putin said that of course he would like it if U.S. partners update Moscow on evidence proving bin Laden's guilt, but that this was "not really important to us" now. President Putin also said that interaction between the special services of Russia and the United States proceeds smoothly. He remarked, however, that the present level of interaction is lower than Russia would like it to be.
