The loading of humanitarian aid for Afghanistan began on Tuesday at the Noginsk railway station near Moscow, reported the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations. The 8 carriages and 3 flatcars will be going to Dushanbe loaded with 1,200 stoves for heating tents, 7 mobile power stations, 22,000 sets of bedding. Then these cargoes will be taken by trailers to Afghanistan, noted the Ministry. Humanitarian cargoes consisting of large tents and KamAZ trucks will be sent off by rail in the next few days from other towns as part of the humanitarian aid from Russia to Afghanistan. Since the beginning of October, 75.5 tons of foodstuffs, 320 tents, 6,300 blankets, 10 tons of medicines and medical equipment have already been airlifted to Tajikistan by planes of the Emergency Ministry and handed over to the Afghan side.
