Participants in the first Russian-Chilean Space Seminar, taking place in the Chilean capital Santiago, are discussing issues regarding scientific and technological research. The delegation from "Rosaviakosmos" and the recently created Chilean Space Agency are showing quite an interest in the event. During the seminar the first deputy leader of "Rosaviakosmos" Valerie Alaverdov talked about the role of astronautics in Russian economic development. A photographic exhibition is taking place at the seminar entitled, "Russian Astronautics: 40 years after Yuri Gagarin's space flight" and a stamp are being exhibited based on the theme of space research.
