On November 4 through 7, 2001 Prime Minister of the Republic of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee will come to Russia on a state visit. The press service of the Russian president reports that during this visit negotiations will be held between the Indian premier and the Russian head of state. In addition, Atal Bihari Vajpayee will have meetings with other Russian officials. On the programme of his visit is also a trip to St. Petersburg. As reported by the Kremlin press service, a series of bilateral documents on further deepening of bilateral cooperation will be signed at this Russian-Indian summit meeting. The upcoming Indian visit is designed to provide an additional impetus in the development of strategic partnership between the two countries, said the Kremlin press service.
