A considerable task faces Moscow and Oslo in preparations for the visit of President Vladimir Putin to Norway. This was disclosed by Igor Ivanov, the Head of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, speaking in Norway en route to Washington. An official statement released by the Information Department and Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday stated that, the length of the visit would be agreed on later. On the whole, he stressed, Russia has planned many meetings and "we are interested in the most productive dialogue with the new Norwegian government."
